Still I understand Richard's point, because what I think he is saying as I understand it is that Fusion projects are a joke in the sense of trying to accomplish the goals they establish, normally break even fusion.
Unless someone has a sure bet for a break even device all research in this field is but guess and speculation, the foundations to basic pure research and science.
