Fusor and/or General Fusion Theory
It may difficult to separate "theory" from "application," but let's see if this helps facilitate the discussion.
Fusor Construction & Operation
For posts specifically relating to fusor design, construction, and operation.

Neutron - Radiation detection
This area is for discussions involving any fusion related radiation metrology issues. Neutrons are the key signature of fusion, but other radiations are of interest to the amateur fusioneer as well. X-rays are an important health issue and measuring them is also important. The discussion can relate to hardware, applications, techniques or observations.
Please Introduce Yourselves!
In the past couple of weeks, our group has grown from about 50 to about 75 members! It's wonderful that there are so many people interested in the fusor... but... who are all these people? Please take a moment to introduce yourselves in this forum and tell us about your interest. Are you building a fusor? Interested in fusion theory? Got a fusion rocket in your back yard? Let us know!
The Fusion Powered Future
Suppose, one day in the not-too-distant future, the "fusion torch" has been lit.... then what? This forum begins with two documents: The first is an excerpt from "Distant Vision" describing Farnsworth's vision for the Fusion Powered Future. The second, "Counterpoint to Utopia" offers a sobering, different perspective. Read these documents, and share your thoughts on what the realization of fusion will really mean for Mankind.
Vacuum Technology discussions
Every fusor and fusion system seems to need a vacuum. This area is for detailed discussion of vacuum systems, materials, gauging, etc. related to fusor or fusion research.
