Saw an article in Laser Focus that had the info you seek. The laser is a ti laser with frequency tripling in uv range. The article claimed that fusion had occured in deuterium clusters zapped with a femtosecond blast of uv laser. The clusters were formed by ejecting deuterium gas into a vaccuum cell at a specific temp range.
will post the reference in a day or two.
