Hopefully we won't be sucked into financing a new round of Fusion attempts by large waves of physicists, engineers, technician and other hangers-on.
One need only look at the NIF debacle to see what fusion money doesn't buy these days.
If the president wants a study done to look at fusion possibilities which have a good chance of succeeding then we'll send millions in the study only to come up with little hope of a fusion future in a timely manner needed now.
