State of the forums and discussions

Well, it is really cookin' now! This is the kind of activity this board deserves!

With the sage advise of Steve Hansen having come on board and a few real "do'ers coming on line, the vacuum discussion is fast approaching the century mark and rivaling the old line winners; the general discussion forum and the fusor construction forum.

The radiation and detection forum is also taking off due to the new doers trying to get squared away for business in this arena, and now rivals the fusion/fusor theory section.

The poor trade/swap section is totlly moribund. Evidently few people are willing to sell, only acquire. Remember, this is a want list place too.

For the most part, the postings have been in the proper forums and this should really help when the board "loads up" in allowing diverse old disucssions to be rediscovered and reference with much more ease than the older BBS. Just keep this question emblazoned in your brain before you post....Is this the right forum for my message/inquiry? By doing this you are helping everyone out down the road.

Thanks guys from this forum manager/editor. I am sure the perfesser, your other forum manager/editor will agree that it is a good time for amateur fusion on the WWW.

A big thanks to Jim Lux who is my personal favorite old timer/regular on this board. This is not to lessen or denegrate the impact of all the rest of us struggling to understand and inform who post regularly. Also, welcome all the active newbies who help keep us on our toes and act to pose thoughtful questions.

Finally, it is important to keep me personally apprised, as "keeper of the list" as to your status, all you doers.

I will republish this list in a couple of weeks. contact me personally please at.

let me know where you are in hardware. There are three catagories of activity by which doers are classed.

Gathering components, whether for a demo or neutron fusor.

Operating a demo fusor device (non-neutron producing)

Operating a real fusing, neutron producing fusor.

To move to the upper two classes, it would be nice to have a photo or such published of your setup, if possible as a proof. Your should be sharing this stuff with us all anyway as you go.
