Hello

Post by DaveNewton »

Hi everyone, my name is Dave. I work in education and some of our demos and experiments use high or ultra high vacuums. We have a small collection of Pfeiffer TCP 121 turbo controllers that are in various states of function. I am hoping to find some people with experience in these controllers.

I stumbled upon this site a year or two ago when I saw something about star in a jar. I was happy that I actually understood what people were talking about with construction of their own fusors.

Hello and hope this forum helps. For controllers, in general, one needs to ask specific questions about the circuit having issues. Broad questions like it doesn't work does not exactly aid much.
First thing always to check are the internal fuses. Then see if the mechanical (if it has one) relay is operating. After that, one needs to know how to check chips and circuits.
Ignorance is what we all experience until we make an effort to learn
