Hello world!!

Post by Chia-Yu Yuan »

Hi, I am an university student from Taiwan.
Recently, we want to build a demo fusor for the school science exhibition project.
We currently want to build a fusor that can produce plasma only first, and neutron producing is secondary goal.
And we have budget for about 30000 TWD, and 4 months to build.
Hope that we can make it

Welcome.

What you aspire to is another demo fusor made specifically to do plasma first, but be of sufficient quality to move directly to fusion. This will demand a metal fusor. This should be of stainless steel with standard vacuum flanges and hookups.

Read the FAQs on construction and the ones on vacuum for specific advise.

Four months is a tight schedule for one or two people, but not for a dedicated team of 4 or more with a budget and funds to allow for rapid assembly and testing.

Good luck in your Quest.
