The MIT Flea is back after the pandemic hiatus. I scored two Thomson linear motion systems that sell for $1783 each for a mere $20 each, brand new in original packaging.

They look great! What is their linear travel range and do you know their full step travel advance. The basis for an x-y table?

I was curious too. Zoomed into pic to get the part number:
2CA08OME15146A

Searching on that found this out-of-stock surplus listing:
https://www.surpluscenter.com/Brands/Th ... 1-3285.axd

So 19" travel.

Comparing similar on the Thomson Linear pages, I don't think they have any positioning drive or position feedback, just very precision linear guides.

Correct, they are just linear guides, with no motion stepper. They guy has one more if anyone is interested. PM me for his contact info. I would have bought all three, but was concerned about how to carry them on plane.
