Hi, my name is Jacob Runte, I'm interested in all things particle and nuclear physics. I hope to be able to make it to the Plasma Club by building a demo fusor first then slowly upgrading the fusor until it can create fusion and get me into the Neutron Club.

Hello and welcome. Good goals you are aiming for and do ask questions about equipment etc after reading related FAQ's (under the various headings.) Do this so as to avoid asking something that is already available. For instance, asking what type of vacuum pump is best is answered in the FAQ's. Seeing a specific pump for sale at a certain price would be fine to ask here - like if it would work and is it a good deal.
