Interesting triple cylinder gridded IECF design

It may be difficult to separate "theory" from "application," but let''s see if this helps facilitate the discussion.

Interesting triple cylinder gridded IECF design

Post by Richard Hull »

Steve Hanson of the Bell Jar sent his interesting paper to me. It looks interesting, but no fusion was done with it, just a potential well study at lower voltages.

Fusion is the energy of the future....and it always will be
The more complex the idea put forward by the poor amateur, the more likely it will never see embodiment

Not the first disc geometry fusor. Check US 9,881,698 on Google patents for another variation. This one is in the public domain now for nonpayment of patent maintenance fees.

Speaking od Maintenace fee's - that is one ridiculous rip off by the patent office. After paying for a patent, they do zero more for you but demand a black mail payment just for you to keep the patent you ALREAY paid them for!

Maintenance fees are due at 3.5, 7.5 and 11.5 years. If you are a "micro entinty" it's 400, 752, and 1540 dollars respectively.
The more reactive the materials, the more spectacular the failures.
The testing isn't over until the prototype is destroyed.

Yes - know too well. Like after you move, and still pay the next fee on time from the new address they fail to send the next notice to that new address!
