In memorium - Lew Stetz

Post by Richard Hull »

Yes, a thinning of the crowd.

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Lew Stetz. Many of you who have attended our big October HEAS conference here in Richmond will certainly remember Lew as the kindly old gentleman who sold his hand tools and electronic goodies for the last 14 years. He was a true fixture and regular to our event and will be missed. I know, I have bought at least 6 soldering irons and guns from him and a lot of lathe tools as well. He seemed to always have at least one neon sign transformer for sale each year.

I attach an image of Lew in his typical welcoming pose in front of his sales tables from HEAS 2020. He was from Levitown, PA

I have some things I bought from him that I use often. Now I'll remember his casual nature and friendliness when I use. RIP.
