Does anyone have any resources to help me learn nuclear physics? I would like something free to read. I am extremely new to this kind of stuff so your help is very much appreciated.

You can start with the FAQs in each forum on fusor specific learning.
We have a references forum here to recommend some books you might find valuable. Check your local library.

The video lectures are top notch and there are other course material to go with it.
