Found the old demo fusor pics. The "propane" tank in my case was actually a smaller refrigerant tank (still way too big). Out of the two designs shown, the converted divers tank (top pic) performed best but unfortunately I have no plasma pics unless they are somewhere deep in the site archives. But again, Based on experience, the volume in these systems would require a massive PSU and prove to be quite thirsty and wasteful of deuterium gas. Unless it's built for uniqueness, I'd recommend to avoid these chambers for neutron producing systems.

Specific to demo systems, Richards classic bell jar system was the absolute best. It was that platform where true star mode was achieved, preliminary gas handling techniques were learned, and the exploration of bugle jets, electron beams, and magnetic plasma manipulation was done.
