A whole stash of HPGe detectors

Post by rossharper »

Hi everyone,

We have a stash of HPGe detectors in various states of repair -- some in dewars, some without. We need to get rid of them to clear some space in our labs, so they're free to a good home, so long as someone can either collect or pay for shipping. We're in Hamliton, Ontario, Canada. Ortec, Aptec; some with pre-amps, some without; you get the idea -- I'd much rather see these go to a good home than into the landfill.

See attached pictures for the stash -- I'm also happy to split them up. Just want to move as many as I can.

Thanks,
Ross

I would like a quote on the two straight longish ones with no dewar in the last image.
PM me here or use my e-mail in my store.
I have dewars

I would be interested in one without dewar and with a preamp. Please contact me with specifics. I would need it to be shipped to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Thanks

I would be over the moon to fund shipping of one or more of these to the UK if you are happy to do this. Please contact me.

I'd be interested in the one in the pelican case if that hasn't been claimed yet.

Hi everyone,

I've had a lot of interest here -- thanks very much!! I'm trying to reply to everyone, but I think it might be more beneficial if I just compile a complete inventory of what we have here, and rough (visible) condition. Give me some time, and I'll post the list!

Thank you for your patience.

Hi folks,

Thanks for your patience. I've had one of my students compile an inventory of the detectors we have available, and I've added names of who requested them earlier, on a first come first served basis. I'm happy to box them up and take them to the local UPS store for pick up (https://www.theupsstore.ca/20/) or if you want to arrange FedEx to pick up from my location. Please see the attached document.

I've highlighted the ones that have been "reserved" earlier. If those who PM'd me or commented earlier have changed their minds, please let me know.

PM me if your still interested, and we'll arrange the shipping details.

Cheers,
Ross

If the GEM 10175 can be sent without the dewar I would like that one please. I'm interested in a shipping quote with the dewar but that might be uneconomical to the UK.
