Hi, I'm currently a high school student (year 10 in the UK) at a school in England. I plan to build a neutron-producing fusor and detect said neutrons with a detector.
My planned fusor specs:
20*20cm tube-shaped vacuum chamber
5 micron HVAC pump
15 micron roughing pump
40kV 15mA power supply
still working on a solution for neutron detection
Other than my fusion interests, I have a 3D printer (Ender 5+) and I built a CNC router in 2020. I'm also working on developing a low-speed wind tunnel.
If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to answer as soon as I can.
I hope to become an active member of this website through my time of building my fusor and future iterations of it, and beyond.

Hello and welcome; besides the issues you mentioned, a source of deuterium gas is essential as well.

Yes of course. I’ve found that that is currently the least of my problems however as I have a few suppliers on my shortlist.
Thanks for the welcome
