Base level source - plastics, wood, nuts and bolts

Post by Richard Hull »

I have nothing here to offer on plastics, but will create the topic heading. I do have a fabulous source on attachment hardware (nuts and bolts).

Bolt depot is my only source for such hardware. You can save on bulk buys (100) about 40-80% over going to Loews, Home Depot or many local hardware stores and buying most any bolt or screw.

Regarding plastics. I and many others who are in bigger cities can easily find a local plastics dealer. Check your hometown first! Here, I use Piedmont Plastics and go pick my custom cut order up. (no shipping costs).
they are all over the U.S.

Another one in 20 cities is Professional Plastics.

The more complex the idea put forward by the poor amateur, the more likely it will never see embodiment

For plastics I've had good service from the following supplier
https://www.redwoodplastics.com/
I was able to pick up in person from their location while I was in Edmonton.

TAP Plastics here in the west coast. Especially the California Bay Area. However, it’s important to note that Amazon and eBay suppliers may be more cost effective. If you can’t wait, TAP can fill an order in 10 minutes while you’re at their store.
