I've been fortunate enough to have some time granted to me on a mass spectrometer configured for isotope separation...
is there something interesting to separate? My current thought is to separate some carbon and study some of the effects of isotopically pure diamonds, but now I am thinking of making an isotopically pure YBCO superconducting wire (albeit a very small one). Does anyone have any good ideas about what isotopes would be interesting to separate?

Lithium 6 comes to mind
along with C14 if you make a C14 diamond you can use it as a battery that lasts quite a few thousand years
