Hey!

today my first parts arrived
what I got was a conflat 2,75'' cross, a nipple, some blanks, a viewport and a valve(see pictures below)
as you can see on the pictures below the handle on the valve was destroyed during shiping, but lucily it is still functioning

today I bought some bolts and assembled the vacuum chamber

Bought some heavy water now, it is a small vail with 2,5cc of heavy water

Heavy water you can allso get from united nuclear, but i had som problems shipping it to norway

Today i got some more parts, i got a power supply, that i will use for the electrolysis of the hevy water, and i got some valves and some tubing

Hey
This is a cad of how i imagine the vacuum system to be like. This was made using autodesck 123D design(an ipad app)
The black cylynder and the orage cube is the diffusion pump and mecanical vacuum pump.

Things seem to be coming together nicely :).

May I ask what problems did you encounter when trying to buy heavy water from United Nuclear? I'm asking because I'm planning on getting it from them, and I live in Hungary. Their price is a LOT better than that ebay listing...42 times better to be exact.

I had some problems with the th the ordering because unitednuclear dor some reason didnt find my adress, so i was not able to order.
