The NRL's Formulary is a useful handbook to have lying around when you want to do experiments with a fusor, or any plasma experiment for that matter. The Formularies are free, and can be ordered over the internet. The shipping is also free. I'm not sure if the government will ship internationally.
Attached is a link to a higher definition scan of the Naval Research Laboratory Plasma Formulary's Section on nuclear fusion. It seems that some of the secondary reactions give off neutrons. The reaction, T + T -> He4 + 2n + (11.3MeV), gives off two neutrons. Could secondary reactions be artificially raising reaction counts because most are only counting neutrons?

Re: NRL Plasma Formulary
Thanks for the information. I just Googled for the NRL Plasma Formulary and there is a link to download a PDF version of the 2002 edition.

Mark thanks for the ref. I think this was noted before and Thanks Dan for the URL for the entire download. This has been given several times before on all three venues. (Songs, Intranet and here). This is a great ref., of course.
This is not the place to pose questions or have discussions, Mark. I have posted in the proper forum, (fusion theory), your question and answered it. Let's not have far ranging discussion here.

I just wanted to thank you for this resource, everything I needed to Mathematically analyze (that I couldn't get from my undergraduate degree).

Re: NRL Plasma Formulary
The NRL formulary rocks as one source. It has some things the other sources leave out, and vice versa. It's part of having a decent library anyone doing this should have, especially if you take the time to combine the various sources for all the info about particular reactions and situations. Some mention this, then leave that out, between them all, you can get a decent picture.
Why guess when you can know? Measure!

Re: NRL Plasma Formulary
I can confirm that the US government pays for international shipping. I placed my order online and was surprised to receive it in the mail a few weeks later. I wonder if one could get a copy sent to O. B. Laden AFGAHNISTAN ?
