A Manual of Radioactivity

Post by Richard Hull »

I just picked up another great book on radioactivity. Actually, I have had it about 3 months and just got around to absorbing myself into the tome.

A Manual of Radioactivity, Hevesy and Paneth, second edition, 1938, Oxford University Press

This is considered one of the classic works. It is cheap enough with good, clean copies going for under $30.00. It is certainly a very complete work with great details on radiochemistry and procedures in the latter half of the work. It is a book that no devotee of radiation physics should be without.
