Just wanted to draw this to peoples attention. Nvidia has released a driver to allow their GPUs to be used as processors to help in simulating physics in games. Its not hard to imagine how this could be applied to simulating a fusor. modern GPUs are 2-3 times faster at this sort of thing than even high end multicore CPUs and with SLI you can have more than one of them. Very high processing power could be achieved at moderate cost.
I will be looking into this, albeit slowly as I know very little about simulation codeing
