Fake bearings in turbo pumps ?

This forum is for other possible methods for fusion such as Sonolumenescense, Cold Fusion, CANR/LENR or accelerator fusion. It should contain all theory, discussions and even construction and URLs related to "other than fusor, fusion".

Interesting speculation but wouldn't this post be better in the Interesting Links section rather then the Fusion Theory, Construction, Discussion section?

Also, maybe update with your full name so new members know your links are valid? I know my post there is getting old.

Dennis,

As you noted in your post report, that was obviously a spam/bot post. It has been permanently deleted.

The User "Nanos" has had an account since 2007 – well before we enacted the "real names only" protocol.

From 2007 - 2009 that account was used for nearly 300 posts, so I did not delete the account. The account has not been used since 2009.

This is a recent trend in spam/bot nuttiness, where somebody or thing is going through the effort to crack the password of an existing, out of use account and then posting under that name. I'm hard pressed to think how we can protect against that sort of malignancy.

That's done, now I will address the three other posts from an account that tried to spam us the old fashioned way, by creating a new account (which shall be summarily deleted even though it used full first and last names).

Thanks,

Good to know for certain and thanks for clarifying; being that old an ID, I realized single names or handles were common then, and the links were valid, so it seem maybe legit.

Was this spam or Nanos posting something? The entire post and all info related to it is gone. It appears Paul that you did a hard delete on this one. Nothing to recover.

Permanently blasting out real spam and one off users makes total sense. WHen it is an existing user, especially with 300 posts, I think we should do a little investigative work before deleting posts unless they are blatantly offensive or repetitive (hacked account). Most especially, a soft delete so they are hidden from the public view but I can get some background on if the post is from the legit author or a hack. By the sound of the title, it seemed legit especially with Dennis's response.

Well, it has gone into the entropy of ones and zeros.

Nanos, if you want to PM me with the post and verify that it is indeed you posting, I can put your post or some content of it back up at the beginning of this thread. If not, I will probably blast the entire thread in a day or so as it is now hanging with no relative content.

Point taken.

The post was thoroughly off topic. but thanks for reminding me to do soft deletes in those situations.

Methinks we will not be hearing from Nanos.
