Pump service recommendations for UK

Hi

I would like to have a couple of pumps refurbished. They are Leybold SV1200 (rotary vane type) and RA7001 (roots type). I was not happy with the quality of service performed by Leybold on the identical pair of pumps. Can anybody here recommend a service in UK? Is this an appropriate question to ask in this forum and, if not, can you suggest other resources?

Surprised the company was unable to overhaul those pumps to your satisfaction. Your next best choice would be to do it yourself. As for other companies, few would ever touch another companies pump - they don't stock the parts and don't have the repair tools that might be necessary. As for independents, maybe someone out there knows of such a company.
