Hello,
I am looking to buy high voltage capacitors (>35kV), preferably Maxwell or General Atomics. I'm only interested in capacitors with stated ESLs. If you have multiple capacitors that would be ideal!
Sincerely,
Robert

Re: High voltage capacitors
About how much capacitance? 0.001 uF? 50 uF?
Your interest in ESL suggests a pulse discharge application, but ESL might be an important parameter in some exotic Tesla coil, or for DC power smoothing in the presence of large high frequency ripple current.
Do the makers you named offer low ESL capacitors in both metallized film and metal foil?

Re: High voltage capacitors
Hi Rich,
I suppose some context would have been helpful. The capacitors are for a pulsed power project where (as you point out) inductance is the biggest issue. I'm looking for capacitances north of 30nF. Maxwell and General Atomics indeed make capacitors satiating my requirements, but they are pretty rare. Worth asking around!

Robert
