nearly complete but how do i transform AC from a neon sign transformer to DC- Any critiques or questions of my design?

Looks like you're all set, then.

That looks like a big [read; expensive to replace] viewport that you might want to protect with a sheet of some sacraficial glass inside the chamber, if you've not already done so (can't see from the pic).

You've got a nice chamber, Tanner. You'll be able to go far with it.

About the NST-based high voltage supply, the only good advice is to use the forum search feature and read the archives. This path is commonly followed and extensively documented. Your question about rectifying the output has already been answered. With rare exception, the voltage and power available are not sufficient to generate detectable fusion reactions, but this kind of power supply is an accessible stepping stone or an entirely adequate supply for a "demo" fusor. Consider recruiting a local mentor with hands-on HV experience if this is a weak area for you.
