Arctic Alumina ?

Post by guest »

Does anyone know about the properties of this product ? Its described as a polysynthetic thermal compound.

If it dries into a compound like the alumina rods, It may be useful in making specialized insulators or sealant within the vacuum chamber.

Going to stick my neck out here and say, that since Alumina itself is a good heat conductor, an insulating material using it must have a lot of empty space to reduce the heat transfer.

This would probably eliminate it as a good electrical insulating material.
