PEM Cell Construction

I’ve had these two Horizon PEM cells for a few years now and both still operate as designed. But for how much longer? There’s no detail regarding maintenance or typical life expectancy.

Being as such, has anyone here built a custom cell based on the same proton exchange membrane arrangement as these units? I’m thinking it’s probably not too difficult.

Thanks for the link Ed. Might be a good idea to buy another for reserve and keep it in its vacuum sealed bag.
