So much great info in the presentations in Japan and on U. of Wisc. site.

Latest data

1. A lot of fusion is occuring within the inner grid but still fast ion-neutral fusion. (new finding)

2. Voltages are going upward towards 300kv

3. The Hirsch gunned fusor is mimed and hits Hirsch's 60's total of 40mega neuts per second at a bit over 150kv @ 10ma. with D-D fusion at reduced pressures.

4. D-3He experiments continue but the absolute need for re-cycling is seen to be of paramount importance due to costs which are well graphed in one of the Power Point presentations. 3He, when I looked it up, (~2004), was about $100.00/ liter and a 25 L cylinder was about $2900.00 delivered. Now it is about $2500.00/liter or about $62,000 for that same 2004 cylinder if you can find it for sale. What was once out of the reach of amateurs in 2004 is now getting out of the reach of many research facilities, demanding retention and re-cycling.

5. In gunned fusors, precise central focusing is a loser and tests show that the best fusion in gunned systems appears to be, effectively, gun loaded and focused D2 beam and target fusion within the device. Wow!

Lots to read and digest.

Fusion is the energy of the future....and it always will be
The more complex the idea put forward by the poor amateur, the more likely it will never see embodiment
