Great work ADAM!! I am happy for your resounding success at the fair. I will look forward to you future reports.
I know how heady such a conference and gathering can be. Mine was in 1959 at Indianapolis with a huge convention of American Rocketeers. (The stainless steel 100 lb plus rockets of yore fired by high school students) This Cold War activity was sponsorsed and condoned by the Federal Government/US Army. We needed home grown Von Brauns to fight off that nasty ole commie menace threatening our efforts at world leadership.
Today the mission is not as politically motivated, but good scientists and engineers are always needed. Your conclave allowed you to not only be one of the centers about which many orbited, but to mingle with your peers in a total experience on a "science high".
I look forward also to your new found friend and fellow fusorite logging on here.

Re: Fusor wins big at local science fair -UPDATE
It sounds like you did some really good networking at the science fair. I'm hoping to hear from Mr. Li in this forum soon. I'm wanting to the same sorts of things for my fusor, eventually.
A curious question - what kind of questions did the skeptics who viewed your exhibit come up with?
