My favorite 'out there' route is slide 21, "Small Black Hole"

We can only hope the thing STAYS out there, too! :0

I knew he must have some sense of humor when I saw his acknowledgments in the masters thesis. Impolitic, no doubt, and probably wishes he had not said it quite that way, but the fact he couldn't resist does say he's got a sense of humor.

A more-or-less harebrained idea:

I found shape-polarized fusion, on slide 11 intriguing. So, if the B11 nucleus is deformed, then sigma increases along the long axis. Anyone have an idea of the magnitude of this deformation energy?

Maybe that could help to explain the extraordinary WB-6 output claimed by Dr. Bussard, as with the spherical simmetry of a polywell one could expect a recently scattered, and as so "vibrating" B11 nucleus to collide head-on with a proton approaching with a wide angle to the original trajectory of the B ion.

I think WB6 used D-D fuel. p-B11 was meant for a future test in a more advance machine capable of higher potentials.

The Rider theory is wrong at the most fundamental level - presumptions are made with out experimental evidence.

The first of April noted Steven - ' good on ya mate '

That brief cover's many areas. What are you calling 'The Rider Theory'? What presumptions?

Yep Polywell reports were all D-D.

I loved this document. Unfortunately the author doesn't discuss Fusion openly.

Edmo:

How do you mean? Are you referring to the title document, or the author generally?
