All who think real power fusion will be done or even claimed by ITER might want to read this. pushed out to 2035 now with no net power expected as a good result!?

http://news.newenergytimes.net/iter-fus ... alsehoods/

Billions going down an ever deepening rat hole with sliding, adjustable goal posts.

I refer all back to my old saw, personally created here at fusor.net.....
"No child born today will ever live so long as to see one watt of earth based, fusion reactor electrical energy flow from his commercially supplied, residential wall outlet!"

Naturally, he will, in maturity, be taxed to help pay for the work that is supposed to achieve it though.....As have we all during our lives.

Yup.
But we are being taxed a lot more to subsidize faster depletion of the fossil fuels under U.S. soil and waters.
Using the word "tax" broadly to include external and future costs consequent to "drill, baby, drill" policies.
Policies to encourage conservation, even those yielding lots more kW and kWh per consumer dollar, are getting short shrift these days.
