Heas attendees how is it going?

Post by Richard Hull » Wed Oct 13, 2021 10:40 pm

This is just a checkup on those attending the event.
It has been alomst two weeks since the event. As I have had no feedback I am just checking....... Last year in the depths of Covid 19 none of the 34 attendees reported covid from the event, where about 60% were masked here at that time. This year, only a tiny percent were masked, but many were now fully vaccinated. Please let me know if you........

1. Returned home via personal car and had a case of diagnosed covid.
2. You traveled by air or train and returned with diagnosed covid.
3. If you had any hassles on your return....(traffic jangles, choked roads, etc.)....(Delayed or canceled flight nightmares for those who flew in.)

We, among our 8 local HEAS members who did attend, had no covid issues. Note: 2 of our 10 local members opt'd not to attend due to critically ill, immunocompromised, elderly relatives living with them. This caused them to demur.

Just checking in with the 50 folks who attended the big event here.

This entire post and any respones will be erased after a suitable period......

Mike and I both used a combination of air and land travel to get to and from. Neither of us had any issue.

My dad and I traveled by car, hitting traffic between Richmond and Maryland both ways. No covid to report on our end.

Flew from Seattle to Durham and back (masked on the plane), and drove from Durham up to Richmond and back. No COVID.

Thanks Richard for putting on another great event!
