Nuclearformatics

Post by HongJie_Yin »

Hello everyone,

I'm a international trade specialist interested in nuclear physics as a hobby. My area of interest is in combining coding and programming along with nuclear reactors, making radioactivity safer and easier to experiment on. I'm mainly interested in how to make tritium safer to use. Hope to be of help to this forum in the future.

Of course you realize that tritium is forbidden to be used by any individual in a fusor. In short, safer to use or not, we can't obtain it or use it in any way. We are forever limited to using Deuterium in our fusors.
This our standard statement anytime anyone speaks of tritium in these forums outside of the theoretical discussions of the fusion process.

Deuterium-tritium. I'm going to try to learn how to build a nuclear electric rocket, powered by nuclear fusion energy.
Currently I'm 28, and I hold an associate degree in biology.
I wonder about the different types of fusion and how to fly nuclear electric rockets in outer space.

In order to start, I'm going to do some research as in how to calculate the amount of clean energy in fusion and fission.

Research is very important before any physical effort and money is expended. You might just find a number of impossibilities face a path to easy implementation. As we often note, Ideas are a dime a dozen. Workable ideas are also found in abundance. Ideas that work are a great rarity.
