Hi I am Sabyasachi and I am trying to build a demo fusor and there is a lot of confusion I have
1)i was searching for roughing pump and found one online for ~$75 but it could achive
only upto 150 microns so I am not sure whether this range is enough for demo
fusor or not
2)I won't end up on building demo fusor, only after it sucess I would try to build actual
fusor; could I use the above vaccum pump as the primary pump or I have to buy
another one for the real fusor??
I am building a demo fusor...need assistance

Welcome!
A basic mechanical vacuum pump must be able to go to below 30 microns to be useful for both a demo and a real fusor.
