Hello!

Post by Tim Krilov »

Hey, I'm Tim. I'm from the Seattle area, currently a senior in high school.
I actually successfully built my own demo fusor before discovering this forum, and stumbled upon it when I was researching how to build an actual neutron-producing one. I'm hoping this forum will be a great place for me to gain knowledge and to share my experience with building a fusor of my own.
I've messed around with electronics and high voltage enough to feel confident with the electronic part of the fusor, but the stuff I'm really struggling with is the high vacuum part-I've never done any projects with vacuums, and the demo fusor was my first very basic foray into building a vacuum chamber, with an actual fusor vacuum chamber being far more difficult to create. I'm hoping to start work on the fusor sometime in a few weeks, and I'm really excited for that!
Thanks for reading!
