My name is Ivan Skachko, I am a postdoc at The University of Manchester, conducting experimental studies in low-temperature physics. I am currently trying to perform optical visualization of vortices in liquid helium-4 by sticking optical fiber bundles into a dilution refrigerator and injecting or generating tracer particles in a cell containing He-II.
