Introduction

Post by Mathew gonzalez »

I am very excited that I found this amazing place.
I am a college student studying mechanical engineering and I have been working on building sputtering magnetron for about 2.5 years now as the equipment is all mostly identical to building a fusor after I finish this project I plan on converting it to a fusor. I have been very much alone on this path with no one to help or answer questions Iv had this lead to a lot of mistakes (high vacuum is hard ) I only wish I found this earlier lol looking forward to learning a lot!

Thanks, Mathew

Yes, sputtering seems to be much harder than it seems I’m hoping to be set up some time next week to try another run with some improvements.
