I'm a long time fan of Philo Farnsworth.
I got interested in hv in the hayday of
ham radio in the sixties.
built an x-ray out of Scientific American at 13 years of age.
retired electronics tech
Computer repair, industrial controls
& robotics.
Worked in defense area.
PMEL graduate in USAF
Graduate of OLE MISS ( go rebels)
Been fascinated by fusion all my life.
getting ready to get into IEC fusion.

I will be teaching physics soon.
I will try to educate as many mississippi school kids about science as possible.

There is plenty of room for the egg heads!
Their advice is needed as well in these discussions.

It is a balance.

Too many builders and it becomes a study in fusion carpentry
Too many thinkers and it becomes a "what if", arm chair round-about.

Welcome to all who post from well considered thought, well posed questions or triumphant or failed deed!

Considered thought opens new avenues for research.
Well posed questions keep all of us on our toes.
Triumphant deed validates our effort
Failed deed seals off blind alleys and avoids other pioneers collecting a lot of expensive arrows in the back in a hostile and unforgiving scientific land.
