I am probably the "old man" of the list in more ways than one. I sort of started what there is of a national amateur fusion movement after I was pushed into it by my friend Tom Ligon back in 1997.

It appears, that I am the first, self-funded, amateur in the US to get a Farnsworth fusor to do fusion.

I have posted on this list since virtually day one, back in late 1998. The perfesser at his old "songs.com" facilitated and nurtured this amateur fusion effort by supplying the means of international contact.

I try and push amateurs into "the doing" as well as the thinking about fusion.

I hope this site will be our final home and look forward to more active commentary.

I am now 55 years old and am a very battle hardened and grizzled old electronics engineer, but still very much the boy scientist of my youth.
