Introduction to Experimental Particle Physics

Post by pawinemaker » Sun Jul 18, 2004 3:49 pm

While looking through my old Physics text books from school, I found this one on the shelf. It is a nice broad brush of the various experimental techniques used in nuclear physics. Here are the particulars:

Richard C. Fernow
Introduction to Experimental Particle Physics
Cambridge University Press 1986
ISBN: 0521379407 (paper back version)

My copy still has the sticker on it from when it was purchased at the Lehigh University bookstore, with the price of $24.95 listed for the hardback version. The current new price at Amazon is over $40 for the paperback and $130 for the hardback! A used paperback version is in the $12 range.
