This book is a quite complete reference for all phenomena relating electrical breakdown in gases. I attach the index:

1.- Fundamental processes in electrical discharges.
2.- Breakdown at low gas presssures.
3.- Corona discharges.
4.- Experimental studies of the growth of spark discharges.
5.- The lightning discharge.
6.- Theory of the spark mechanism.
7.- Breakdown voltage characteristics.
8.- Irradiation and time lags.
9.- High frequency gas discharges.
10.- The spark channel.
11.- Electrode effects.
12.- Glow to arc transition.

While there are numerous derivations as well as complete presentations of many theories, there is also a lot of discussion of both experimental methods as well as experimental results. Furthermore, the authors are the original creators of the streamer theory of spark propagation! Thus, chapter 6, 4 and 10 are written by who were at the moment the experts on the field. I highly recommend this book

I've put a pdf copy of Meek and Craggs, along with some other books, in a dropbox folder here:

Wow, I just learned that Craggs was one of the inventors of the Trigatron during WW2 for use in radar modulator systems!
