Another great HEAS this year. Thanks Richard!

Re: HEAS 2014 --- 25th Year Anniversary!
Thanks Frank for the single image. I was unable to take a single image.
Please ....I am begging others to include any and all images that you took and like of the event in a reply to this thread. There were lots of picture taken. Let's see some. Shots of the flea market would be nice too.
As most of the attendees know, I was hit with a grossly debilitating stomach bug on Thursday evening and was worthless on the Friday welcome gathering having to sleep three hours, then join the group for three hours, then sleep again, but picked up a bit on Saturday, making it through the entire day. I am still recovering and sleeping a lot. This bout hit me hard!
I want to thank all of you who attended and apologize for my rather bedraggled look throughout the event.
We had 51 attendees in all with about 4 or 5 cancellations due to personal circumstances.

These pictures were all taken from a Tim Koeth Facebook post. I'm pretty sure Tim won't mind having them here.

One last picture from my sniping other people's Facebook page...this time photo credit goes to Susan Mills.
In this photo of me and Tim Koeth, I can't help but think that as good as Tim's handy Ludlum is, it may have been feeling a little inadequate in this particular instance. Size does matter sometimes.

Photos of electrostatic ball motor and Tesla coil demonstrations.
Does anyone have the specs on the Tesla coil?

Re: HEAS 2014 --- 25th Year Anniversary!
Jim, Andrew and Roger thanks for posting the great pictures! Thanks to Tim for taking many of them. This is just what was needed!
From the great images of the flea market you can see this was the place to get parts for your fusor, if you are building one.
I would like to express my great appreciation for the recognition by all for my last Quarter Century of effort in gathering eager and curious amateur scientists from around the country to share their knowledge once each year at my lab and exchange both ideas and materials.
Special thanks go to Tony De Angelis and Ed Wingate who gave of their time and treasure to have the large, heavy, embossed, cast aluminum plaque created to honor me and the event.

Thanks Richard for another great HEAS! And congratulations on 25 years of amateur science gatherings.
It was nice to see the regulars and some new faces from the Fusor list. Andrew's badges did help!
Here are some pics of the event.

For those HEAS attendees who saw my presentation on the old Peach Bottom HTGR and weren't completely bored, here are some videos I recently stumbled upon that General Dynamics produced during the plant construction. There are some fantastic images of the thorium fuel being made.
