Archived - HEAS real time photos

Post by Frank Sanns » Fri Oct 01, 2010 9:42 pm

Friday eve.

Edit. Seems I can not post to this site with the iPhone so I have sent photos to Steven to post.

Second photo is Richard at the controls at the moment he hit the 1.2 mega neutron mark for the very first time as Jon, Karl, a few others and I watch the excitement.

Frank, it is my pleasure to relay the real time photo's from HEAS.

Did you know that the pictures from the moon landing in 1969 were also relayed to America via Australia?

I think I can create additional contributors/editors for the TypePad front page of the site, but that might take some doing...at the moment my time (at the Starbucks in Wytheville VA) will be better spent prepping for my arrival - probably around 2:00 PM.

I recognize Richard and Frank immediately - who are the other guys? Unfortunately, I'm headed 6-7 thousand miles in the opposite direction tonight. From the tees, I can assume it's hot and humid in Richmond - how else?

Steven,

Thanks for the assist. I intended to send more photos but the days got away from me so I will post more under the post that Richard Started.

Richard Hester, I am not in either of these picutres. George is the fellow on the left that you might have mistaken for me. Fine by me as he is at least a decade or more younger than me! It is also an indication that you need to make the long trek next year to refamiliarize yourself with all of us again!

I'm looking pretty old these days too, Frank. My new passport photo sorta ground that in - I look every inch the mean old man. Maybe HEAS next year - with the surprise business trip this year, I couldn't have made it even if I planned it.
