On the grounds of a local history museum, next to the water tank house and windmill, is a well pump with 1.5 HP electric motor.
Upon closer inspection, the old motor has no rotor. In its place is a newer and smaller motor, not necessarily 1.5 HP. Must have actually turned the pump, once upon a time.
