I have this image in my files from a fellow who I cannot remember that did fusion. (if you are or know this fellow please respond with more data or a name).
Attached is the largest neutron shield I have ever seen assembled by an amateur fusor. Just....Wow! I am positive it was overdone and not needed at all.
That amount of was is a fire hazard! A fire marshal would go apoplectic.
