More Fusion

Hello all,
I mentioned previously that Noah and I had run out of deuterium. This is not the case. We thought that our lecture bottle's valve was open when it was actually closed. We simply used all of the deuterium stored in the regulator. This was a pleasant surprise. Anyway, we decided to fuse more atoms.
Data:
Voltage: 25-30 kV
Current: 9-10 mA
Deuterium pressure: 5-15 mTorr
Bubble dosimeter sensitivity: 29 bubbles/mrem
Bubble dosimeter distance from ideal neutron source: 15 cm
Bubbles generated: 24
Combined duration of testing: 20 minutes
Calculations:
Neutron radiation dose: 24 bubbles/29 bubbles/mrem = 0.83 mrem
Neutron energy: Mono-energetic 2.45 MeV (flux to dose rate = about 8 (neutrons/cm^2/second) / (mrem/hour))
Neutron flux at detector: (0.83 mrem) (1/3 hours^-1) (8 (neutrons/cm^2/second) / (mrem/hour)) = 20 neutrons/cm^2/second
Total neutron flux: (20 neutrons/cm^2/second) (4*pi*(15 cm)^2) = 58,000 neutrons/ second
We were able to capture the most star-like image yet!
