Either they have something or a lot of people are being sucked in

I am very highly skeptical of E-Cat/LENR and Rossi's work, however, I have been invited to tour a reputable (I'm not sure if they would like me to disclose where) facility where they supposedly have an "E-Cat" reactor working.

I intend to bring a good amount of radiation detection equipment (neutron detector, geiger counter, scintillation detector and perhaps a gamma spectrometer setup) with me. If I am allowed to disclose what I see, I will report back with my findings and my data. I am trying to keep somewhat of an open mind going in, but I highly doubt I will detect anything.

I will be shocked if they let you anywhere near the facility with any detection gear. They have to keep up the perception that it's working, and they don't want to prove it themselves so they sure won't want you to prove it (or disprove it).

The lady I originally talked to about it didn't seem to have a problem with it, although she doesn't actually work on that project specifically. I still have to run it by the people who are actually working on the "reactor." Hopefully I will get verification within a couple days as to whether or not I will be able to bring detection gear.

Really nice to see that the sources are blogs, youtube videos, and content from their own site.

John,

This looks like a scam, the fact that it is Italian/Australian, sure doesn't help it's credibility.

What gives this away is the amount of hard sell advertising nonsense in the document, for let's face it, if you had something that good, it doesn't need selling.

"E-Cat Australia welcomes you to a new age of energy production"

"This is a game changer; it creates energy..."

"The E-Cat technology consumes no radioactive materials,..."

"The E-cat operates at a high COP (Coefficient Of Performance),..."

it sounds a lot like...

"The incredible SlimTea, effort less weight loss, eat as much as you like without gaining a gram of weight..."

I call it a bluff.

Steven

59Ni => 59Co by electron capture. Trace amount in Nickel.
107Pd => 107Ag by beta emission. Trace amount in Palladium

No neutrons, no 4He produced. Just heat and some gammas.

If the deuterium processing of the electrodes has somehow speeded up the decay of these trace constituents (lattice pressure effect on electron orbital density? or electron tunneling thru nuclei effects from the crumbling electrodes), they will likely get heating results for only a few months at best.

E-CAT's have been a scam for ages. It's not fusion of any kind but a thermoelectric catalytic battery.

Would you mind giving us a clue on how you found this information on the hoax?
