Short Paper, I haven't noticed this particular item discussed before, but I have been spotty in my reading of the boards for a few years.

I liked the metrology.

I am concerned they are looking at a lot of fast stuff that can ionize the gas in the GM tube; none of it nuclear in nature. For me, they have not proved a nuclear reaction.

Soft X-rays probably abound as the target (anode) is hi-Z (Pd). Just too much going on in this that is not controlled from my viewpoint.
