Cold fusion is real

This forum is for other possible methods for fusion such as Sonolumenescense, Cold Fusion, CANR/LENR or accelerator fusion. It should contain all theory, discussions and even construction and URLs related to "other than fusor, fusion".

So maybe it's not fusion -but it violates the 2nd law of thermo Dynamics- in which you get more power out than you put in. Dardik gets 100kw out with less than 1kw in.. and neutrons are not always present in abundance. But if this is ever perfected the whole world will change overnight. every major country in the world is (now secretly) trying to perfect this phenom. China and Israel are at the forefront.

What are you talking about here? Is there supposed to be a link to an article with some actual neews or something?

Looks like this is your first post here... possibly not an auspicious beginning.

His wave energy theory treats multiple sclerosis (that scam cost him his medical license) and treats AIDS, and produces cold fusion well beyond 1000 X as great as any other claims!

Doing a Google search on Dardik and cold fusion reveals that this is apparently from the 1990's (at least starts then). The link on the Wikipedia page references A Washington Post article that says nothing about real data.

I would not put much faith in this individuals claims.

The topic of cold fusion has been discussed here in the past. A recent thread

viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7245&hilit=cold+fusion#p49117

remains, perhaps, a valid summary of the current situation.

While keeping up with the topic of CF, LENR, CMS, or whatever you wish to term the study, nothing really new has entered the field. There is no break through.....just like hot fusion, NIF, ITER, etc...... Just an occassional load of hype with no real usable energy there. Fusion of any sort remains a dream, hung in limbo.

Dardik's results with the "superwave" waveform input are intriguing, but I want to see a few more labs replicate his experiments before I'm fully convinced.

It is papers like this that keeps things moving along in the field, but it doesn't mean we have the classic fusion ready process that is usable to the advantage of man for power production. Far from it.

Statements like this (one of the other measurements cited in the paper) really put things in perspective:

>the flux was 0.019 ± 0.002 n/s

The experiments are not easy because of the need to consider many sources of interference at these low count rates. Spontaneous fission of a meager two grams of depleted uranium emits more neutrons than this. Trace (a,n) reactions on light nuclei are important low-level sources of neutrons, as is photonuclear disintegration of deuterium nuclei by background gamma radiation.

Players in this game have to be well-seasoned experimentalists and possessed of a strong appreciation of the statistical issues involved.
