I made a sonoluminescence setup for a science fair about 2 years ago. With the right equipment you can make bubbles glow with ease. You do however need a good signal generator and a hefty amplifier to push enought power through the transducers. With a good variable core inductor for matching (which you can make yourself) and patience you can make it work fairly easily.
